这一连八集连续剧，以温情为主调，探讨“如何弥补人生中的遗憾”课题。

故事纯属虚构，讲述一部可带人回到人生中最重要的一天的升降机中，所发生的几段人情味故事。

每一个生前有遗憾的人，他们死后都会来到这部“人生升降机”里，接受“电梯小姐”的引导，重回生命中最重要的一天以弥补遗憾。然而，回到过去所作出的各种选择，虽然不能改变死者的死期，却会改变到自己以及身边的人往后的际遇，展开不一样的人生旅途……

八个单元剧包括：执著于先买楼后结婚而过劳死的世杰、校园欺凌事件中不幸被人毁容的可欣、胎儿被诊断出患有唐氏症的夫妇、暗恋邻居的装修师傅、转行去做社工的收数佬阿东、连番失利的投资经理、昏迷了 15 年后还是在睡梦中死去的少女，和再次酗酒，并不幸遇上意外身亡的马丁。
