為激发各位的美味小宇宙，日日可以煮出非凡的菜式，肥妈继续伙拍契仔陆浩明(6号)，发扬「食平D」精神，到於全港街市搜寻时令食材，并即场向街坊作意见调查，找出最受欢迎菜式，提供最新最简易「煮」意。
每集设有不同主题，懒人如何用一隻手指一按便煮出两餸晚餐？找个电饭煲帮忙吧！坐月妇女的饮食忌讳多多，有十多个孙儿的肥妈為你指引。其他主题还有「呃Like儿童餐」、「人妻御夫餐」、「十人大餐零难度」、「星期五食豪D」，不论单身、二人世界、大家庭、宅男等各界人士，总有一招半式适合你，简单易煮零失败，保证人人皆可变身大厨！
节目播出前，邀请各路观眾投票，在鸡/鸭、猪、牛、鱼/海鲜、素菜/蛋五个类别中选出最想学菜式。肥妈顺应民意，在最后五集示范做出票数最高的菜式，让人人煮得轻鬆，食得开心又幸福。

肥妈发现观眾想吃的海鲜菜式，竟不是陆浩明经常要求的魷鱼、海参、海斑等名贵食材，而是「宫保明虾」、「煎三文鱼扒」及「椒盐魷鱼鬚」。肥妈认為，用急冻海鲜煮这三道菜，比用生猛的海鲜更加好，為甚麼？
坊间的「宫保明虾」辣椒多於虾，身為家庭主妇当然以虾為重，不过亦不能忽略能為餸菜点睛的花椒油！而煎三文鱼扒，醃料不用多，盐及胡椒粉便可，但下锅煎之前，最好先加一小块牛油，带出香味。票选结果包含「椒盐魷鱼鬚」这种街头小食，令肥妈大吃一惊，不过肥妈仍然有办法在家中煮出这「无敌」的美食，完成后还与六号一起不停「打猫」！
第四款票选的海鲜菜式，却万万不能用急冻海鲜代替！肥妈再买入波士顿龙虾，只用薑及龙虾汁就煎好牠，另外準备芝士汁底与伊麵，著名宴客菜式「芝士龙虾伊麵」便可进驻家居饭桌！
