this is very bad news. the quality from your tvb paid channel and i cable channel are very good and it will be very sad to see the quality go down or missing episodes. Hopefully you can still continue somehow.

they still do but not too many series and at a slower pace. We just have to wait for a long long time for it to show on the free channel like J2 to see it.

do you know why they are having trouble recording? i am using google translate and all i can understand is that tvb and i-cable are counter-recording...what does that mean?
not all paid channels will play on J2 or HDJade..sometimes they will never play again.
they might release it here but it doesn't update often..

They have trouble recording because tvb and icable are making it difficult and putting more restrictions than before. I still hope 5156share and others will continue sharing the ones on paid channel and i cable.

oh ok, i'm not sure what kind of restrictions they're using but whyhung seems to be the only one who can get around it...but everyone else, 5156share and tvbyy can't record anymore ..i hope they can get around it somehow too..
they also said tvb and i-cable are cracking down so i'm worried about that as well...

I hope the new channel this year in Hong Kong will show a lot of good stuff on the free channel then I won't need to care about tvb and i cable anymore. I really miss all the paid ones on i cable and tvb back then

me too . i know Viutv will be playing korean dreams because i looked at the list of their upcoming dramas and it has korean shows...but i like the long korean dramas better.
Viu tv shows it in Korean audio with subtitles so no need to go there if you can watch them online elsewhere. I hope now tv will air some in Cantonese when their channel starts. And I miss the paid ones too

Good news. Viu tv will air their shows in Cantonese. Their station will start on 4/6 and they already have a handful of popular Korean dramas they will air. Descendant of the sun will be the first one and is currently a big hit in Korea. Next will be You are pretty and Reply me 1988. So look forward to the Cantonese dubbed version

yes, i just read that they will play cantonese dubbing on their channel so that should be easy for all of the users who can watch that channel to record them
i'm not a big fan of the short, under 20 episodes of korean shows but i'll give it a chance..i hope they play the long 30-100 chapter dramas eventually like ATV used to do...
