十八位小参赛者分成六组比赛，三十分鐘之内炮製好自选菜式，在麦洁儿、陈国强、杨国基三位星级评判的手上，争夺七个出线资格。各小厨神磨刀霍霍，以黑白胡椒虾、夏威夷汉堡包等菜式迎战，谁人可以脱颖而出？

压轴一战，Salina和Kit在决赛上演终极对决。大会為了给两位尽情发挥，今集不限题材、用料，只要求参赛者在三小时内，炮製好前菜、主菜和甜品做套餐。评判人选除了杨国基、麦洁儿、陈国强外，亦请来重量级嘉宾黄淑仪(Gigi)，品评小厨神的厨艺和创意，Gigi姐一向与国家级名厨交手，今次面对小朋友可不会降低要求！
「大热门」Salina再次挑战难度，以三款淮阳美食迎战，以「精緻」路线展示技巧。前菜「芺蓉蟹肉羹」、甜品「桂花酒酿丸子」都是考验手艺的作品，拆蟹肉、搓丸子的力度讲究粗中有细，她可会应付得来？「狮子头」是陈国强师傅的拿手小菜，Salina在不用提点的情况下，竟然展现出专业厨师的功架，炮製主菜「松露狮子头」！可是时间迫在眉睫，这位笑容甜美的小厨神毕竟忙中有乱，连番做错几个重要步骤，难道冠军就此拱手相让？
Kit迎战高手同样不敢轻敌，西式全餐既购入高级牛肋骨，又动用到新鲜海產，用料可谓先赢一仗。她用酥皮包住带子焗製「封酥带子」，无论创意和味道都有上佳水準。只是比赛难免紧张，甜品「苹果金宝」因為放糖不足，令配料欠缺黏力包住苹果粒，Kit事后亡羊补牢，能否力挽狂澜？主菜「砵酒慢煮牛肋骨」花了两小时的烹调，味道、质感完全恰到好处，可是菜式最关键的败笔，竟是连评判都看不过眼的卖相……
