简介：


  罗展才是一家小型电镀厂的老板，趁暑假带妻子陆笑媚及女儿罗婉儿，赴加拿大探望已移民当地的父母及弟罗展雄。一家人对加拿大的朴素生活及怡人景色，留下了深刻的印象。返港后，罗展才因感生意难做，又恐女儿学坏，遂起移民之心，先让女儿及妻子赴加生活，而他就当其“太空人”也。
怎料，其好色劣性被妻子陆笑媚所察，被迫卖掉所有资产，移民他乡重新生活。初到彼邦，罗展才一家人暂寄于弟家，由于其母与弟妇Grace早有心病，再加上陆笑媚之爽直性格，经常闹出满天神佛，罗展才唯有以有限资金另置居所，过程中令他与陆笑媚深切明白在异乡之苦况。
